All District and Department meetings are open to the public. 

Regular Meetings

The CLVFD Administrative Meeting is held at 6:30 pm on the first Thursday of every month in the Wapiti Center at Crystal Lakes Basecamp.  All firefighters and special duty responders are expected to attend.  The attendance of any interested community member is welcomed.

The CLFPD Board Meeting is held at 7:00 pm on the Third Thursday of every month in the Wapiti Center at Crystal Lakes Basecamp.  The attendance of any interested community or fire department member is welcomed.

Firefighter Training

Firefighter training is held at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Thursday of every month in the Fire Station at 237 Blackfoot Road.  During summer months, training may be rescheduled to include some longer and all-day trainings.

Special Events

The CLVFD holds several special community and fund-raising events throughout the year. 

Rummage Sale - A community garage sale benefiting the CLVFD is held every year on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend at the Fire Station.  The success of this fundraiser depends on you!  Please donate your unwanted items and come enjoy yourself at the sale. 

Old Fashioned Fourt of July Celebration - Hosted by the CLVFD Firefighters and Special Duty Responders, the Fourth of July Celebration is our way of giving back to the community.  Held near the Crystal Lakes Basecamp, events include a parade of fire engines and ATVs, an ATV decorating contest, music, food, raffles, and games for the children.

Labor Day Craft Show - In the fall, the CLVFD takes part in the Crystal Lakes Labor Day Craft Show at Basecamp, on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, selling CLVFD t-shirts and sweatshirts and holding a silent auction of craft items donated by community members and craft show vendors.  If you are interested in donating an item for the silent auction, please contact Sharon Cooper at 881-3595.  Thank you!
