Looking for a way to serve your community while learning life-saving skills? The Crystal Lakes Volunteer Fire Department is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team—whether as firefighters or fire auxillary members. No prior experience? No problem. You don’t need to be a seasoned firefighter or in peak physical shape to contribute. And you don’t have to be on the mountain full-time to make an impact.

Why Volunteer?

🔥 Protect Your Community – Be the one who answers the call when your neighbors need help most.

🚒 No Experience Required – We provide all the training you need to become a confident responder.

🕒 Flexible Commitment – Train with us (about 6 hours per month) and respond to emergency calls when you’re available.

💰 Pension Eligibility – Serve for 10+ years with at least 36 hours of annual training and qualify for a pension.

🎉 More Than Firefighting – Not into fire response? Join our Fire Auxiliary to assist with admin, logistics, and events.
