January 5, morning -- Incident #1 -- medical call in Filing 1 -- CLVFD medical responders provided patient assessment and care while firefighters stood by in case it was necessary to set up a landing zone for the Lifeline helicopter and Special Duty Responders staged to provide traffic control or lead-in if necessary.
January 5, evening -- Incident #2 -- medical call in Filing 1 -- CLVFD medical responders provided patient assessment and care while firefighters stood by in case it was necessary to set up a landing zone for the Lifeline helicopter and Special Duty Responders staged to provide traffic control or lead-in if necessary.
January 8, morning -- Incident #3 -- motor vehicle accident on 73C -- CLVFD personnel responded to a two-car injury accident at 73C and Modoc Ct, where our medical responders provided patient assessment and care while firefighters stabilized the vehicles and ensured that there were no fluids leaking and no fire hazard. Special Duty Responders provided traffic control around the scene, as it was necessary to entirely block 73C until the patients had been transported via RFLVFD's ambulance. State Patrol took over the scene at that point, relieving CLVFD responders, and managed access and traffic control until tow trucks could arrive to remove the vehicles.
January 12, evening -- Incident #4 -- medical call in Filing 8 -- CLVFD medical responders provided patient assessment and care while firefighters stood by in case it was necessary to set up a landing zone for the Lifeline helicopter and Special Duty Responders staged to provide traffic control or lead-in if necessary.
January 17, pre-dawn -- Incident #5 -- medical call in Filing 8 -- CLVFD medical responders provided patient assessment and care while firefighters stood by in case it was necessary to set up a landing zone for the Lifeline helicopter and Special Duty Responders staged to provide traffic control or lead-in if necessary.
January 19, morning -- Incident #6 -- possible gas leak in Filing 14 -- CLVFD firefighters responded to reports of a strange odor/possible gas leak at a house in Filing 14. Responders were unable to locate any sign of gas using gas meters and stood down, advising the property owner to have propane-using appliances checked by a technician to be safe and to call 911 again if they smelled the odor again.
